With so many options in the North End of Italian cuisine, Trattoria Il Panino is my favorite. Not only the food is incredible, but the service and staff are very friendly and keep the restaurant going harmoniously. The menu has a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes and of course homemade pasta options but one that I would recommend trying the Ravioli Porcini with wild mushrooms and black truffle cream.
I would definitely come back to this place and enjoy more homemade pasta dishes.

No solo la comida es increíble, sino que el servicio y el personal son muy amables y mantienen el restaurante en armonía. El menú tiene una gran variedad de platos italianos tradicionales y, por supuesto, opciones de pasta casera, pero uno de los que recomendaría probar es el Ravioli Porcini con setas y crema de trufa negra. “In the North End, you really do have a ridiculous amount of Italian restaurants (obviously, it’s north end). But this pace, was hands down one of my favorites I have had in the area to date. IT was only a 20 minute wait, but worth it.
The place itself can get a bit crowded in the main area but the side patio is covered, toasty and still super inviting. Service was amazing and the woman running the show there, she’s a machine! She was in all doors, keeping people moving along and just friendly as ever considering the chaos of the crowd. Kudos to her!
The food – the most amazing I’ve had in a while. The sauce itself made me want to dip everything on the table in it and soak up every last bite. The flavor was delicious. I ended up trying the Paccheri al Ragú which features a neapolitan rigatonia, clow cooked lamb, beef, veal and pork ragú. There was seriously nothing left on my plate, it was amazing. The flavors and the pasta cooked perfectly, the meats were all tender and seasoned to pair with that amazing sauce. We also had the Mom’s Quattro Carni Ragú which luckily did come with a meatball, sausage, braciola and pork short ribs in their old recipe ragú. Just as amazing to be honest. The short rib was a bit random in the mix but who cares, still fantastic. It’s their sauce, I want to know that secret recipe!!!
New favorite. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. Absolutely loved it.”
